Please exercise caution and Do Not open attachments or click links from unknown senders or unexpected email. **** As a homeowner in Autumn Wood Farms, we have many concerns regarding the proposed Ambleside Point Development in Carmel. For the sake of brevity, we will limit our concerns to the following: We purchased approximately one acre of wooded land in Autumn Wood Farms in 2003 and completed construction of our custom built home in 2004. We purchased and built upon this property as the areas to both the east and the west of Autumn Wood Farms were zoned very low density residential. We appreciate the reality that zoning may be revisited as time goes on, but the proposed plan of 265 home in Ambleside Point represents a very dramatic shift from the current approved zoning. The proposed development is totally inconsistent with Objective 1.4 of the Carmel Comprehensive Plan Essence updated as of June 1, 2020. The proposed plan represents a very harsh transition compared to the Autumn Wood Farms neighborhood. The two points represented above reinforce that homeowners rely on critical inputs such as zoning and comprehensive plans when making large home investment decisions. The proposed development threatens large, mature trees on the west side of Autumn Wood Farms that provide privacy and are consistent with the character of our neighborhood. Thank you for your consideration. Brady and Cathy Cunningham 14537 Autumn Wood Farms Carmel, IN 46074 1
