Subject:Gas Station at 131st and Towne- Docket No. PZ-2020-00093-96 V

My wife and I purchased a property in the Village of West Clay earlier this year and recently learned that there are plans
to build a gas station near our house.
While I understand that the initial zoning to allow this is complete, I would like to voice my concern for some of the
variances that have been requested, as I feel that granting these variances would establish a dangerous precedent for
future development.
I think the request to move the pumps and parking to the front of the building should be denied. I also do not think it is
safe to reduce the amount of space required for cars to wait in line and feel that this requested variance should be
denied as well. I feel both of these requests will have a negative impact on traffic and the ultimate safety of pedestrians
In our neighborhood.
