Joe,
As a 10-year resident of the Village of West Clay, I'm writing to let you know that I wholeheartedly OPPOSE the Zoning
request to allow changes to the proposed Family Express gas station and car wash in our neighborhood.
Allowing these variances will provide a wreckless precedent for the health and safety of residents. I question the
accuracy and objectivity of the "Findings of Facts" put forth in the variance and challenge those supposed facts. In no
certain terms can the builder (or anyone) ensure that moving the pumps and parking, and reducing the required wait
space for cars will not have a "significant" impact on the community. Significant is a dynamic term, not one that has the
same meaning to all.
It is unconscionable to jeopardize the health and safety of our most vulnerable Village residents to the presence of a gas
station.
Please do not vote to support these variances and instead, consider the residents that will be negatively impacted by
this decision.
Thank you,
Dana Slama
