Proiiect Overview
We are building our dream home in the Northvale section in the Jacksons Grant
neighborhood. With the additions that are made to the home, we feel that the overall
home will enhance the look and feel of the neighborhood and surrounding areas.
Variance Request
R-2 2.10 Maximum Lot coverage + 35%. Seeking approval for lot coverage of 38.7%.
Variance Support
We are seeking approval for lot coverage of 38.7% on a maximum lot coverage of 35%.
-It is our belief that the additional coverage on our home will enhance the overall look
and appeal of the Jacksons Grant Northvale neighborhood.
-The additional lot coverage items are a 20x40 pool with decking around the pool and
hardscaping.
-The additional half circle driveway in front gives our home the curb appeal that will
greatly improve the overall appearance of the neighborhood.
-There is an approved bioswale and open space located directly next to the property to
the east, as well as open space on the north side of the property.
-To comply with the maximum lot coverage, it would give the home a less grand feel
and would not do a neighborhood like Northvale justice as it is a nice upscale
neighborhood. To allow this will only help values and beautify the neighborhood.
