I don’t agree with the plans to build a super gas station complex in the middle of a residential area. My
original understanding of this project was to build a gas station with six islands. Dawned on me later that
this meant 2 sides to each island meaning 12 pumps. I guess it could mean 2 pumps to each side of the
island that would equal 24 pumps.
On top of that you have a convenience store. I would suggest they put in multiple high resolution
cameras to identify the crooks that come in to rob the place at 2:00 am.
Finally, a car and truck wash? You are not serious! The only thing they are missing in the
proposed complex are service bays for oil changes and brake jobs, etc.
I live close to the super gas station complex but not as close as the poor souls that built their homes in
the last 2-3 years across the streets from this proposed monstrosity.
I think the gas station developers started this process many years ago.
I doubt the original Village of West Clay planners thought this monstrosity would fit into its future
planning. Nice homes, playgrounds, great street layouts, ponds, meticulous landscaping and convenient
local small retail stores and businesses.
Do the right thing and keep this gas station, convenience store, and car wash complex out of this
location.
