I am writing to let you know that I am not in any way supporting the proposed gas station in my neighborhood, The
Village of West Clay and sincerely hope that the zoning board will reconsider their position.
There are many reasons, but I feel the most important one is that it will impact the health and safety of the entire
neighborhood, especially The Stratford retirement center that the gas station will be immediately next to.
Five of our seven grandchildren live in the village and are out riding bikes, going to the pool, playing tennis and
basketball. If the gas station is built, we will lose the sense of safety and security that has been a major attraction of
living here. What other Carmel neighborhood has a gas station?
I don't think you have received a true representation of how the residents in this neighborhood feel.
I appreciate your consideration in this matter.
Thank you,
Nancy Martzolf
