Please exercise caution and Do Not open attachments or click links from unknown senders or unexpected email. **** Hi Joe. Thanks for serving our community. We wish to voice our opposition to the proposed gas station on Towne, between Glebe and Main. (We currently own a home, within The Village of West Clay at 12785 Forsyth Street and also own a home, our residence, located at 14076 Finnhorse Drive, in the Westmont subdivision). We urge the BZA to not allow this development, for these reasons: 1. The proposed development doesn't fit the tenor of Towne Road. Years ago, visionary Carmel leaders ensured that there were no gas stations along U.S. 31. We can agree this was a good move and certainly using that logic for a residential street like Towne makes sense. 2. The proposed development is not needed:  With the addition of the Get N Go gas station at Illinois and 116th, the existing stations located on West Carmel Drive and Old Meridian (Meijer), and the Speedway at 106th and Michigan Road there is sufficient capacity for fueling for Carmel residents west of U.S. 31  Food to go, sundries and other convenience store items are currently provided by CVS and other Village of West Clay merchants. There is not an unmet demand for these offerings. Thank you, Joe and members of the BZA. Charlotte and Doug Lippert Carmel, Indiana (Greater Indianapolis) (317) 519-9836 (call or text) 1
