Re: BZA Docket No. PZ-2020-00108 V: Shahram's Kitchen & Eclectic Aesthetic Health Center Signage
Dear Ms. Ardalan:
At the meeting held on Monday, July 27, 2020 the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the
following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you for the property located at
246 W. Main Street:
APPROVED: Docket No. PZ-2020-00108 V, Development Standards Variance approval for: Maximum
signage: only first floor tenants shall be allowed signage allowed, Signage for upper floor tenant
granted. (The proposed blade/projecting sign can only extend a total of 60 inches from the building wall.)
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is July 27, 2023.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
