Please exercise caution and Do Not open attachments or click links from unknown senders or unexpected email. **** We are property owners in Brentwood, the neighborhood SE of the proposed development. We are strongly opposed to the planned development on the NE corner of Keystone and 136th Street. As you are aware the roundabout in this area already requires a traffic light to regulate traffic flow and exiting the Brentwood neighborhood is problematic at almost any time of day often requiring a right turn to the roundabout on Carey Road and 136th street. Even this right turn requires a lengthy wait at busier times of day. The proposed density of housing on this parcel of land will make the traffic problem exponentially worse. Presumably the parcel of land on the SE corner of Keystone and 136th will then also be re-zoned for high density housing - again more traffic. This is so short sighted and will have a negative impact on our property values. We fail to understand why every square inch of land in Carmel must be developed and would not be happy with any development on this land but realize that that ship has sailed. We urge you however, to reconsider the rezoning which would 1 allow such high density housing to be developed. The actions of the council are steadily changing the nature of Carmel and this change is not for the better. Clare and Daniel Erasmus 13535 Brentwood Lane 2
