GENERALNOTES
1. CONTR4CTOR TO VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS WITH DRAWINGS
PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE
DESIGNER OF ANY DISCREPANCIES IMMEDIATELY.
2. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF
ALL DEMOLISHED MATERIALS. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE
FOR PROVIDING DUMPSTER. HOTEL DUMPSTER(S) ARE NOT TO
BE USED.
DEMOLITION PLAN NOTES
�CONTR4CTOR SHALL REMOVE EXISTING WALL CONSTRUCTION IN
ITS ENTIRETY. REMOVAL TO INCLUDE FRAMING, FLOOR TRACKS,
CEILING TRACKS, GYP. BRD. OR PLASTER FINISH, ANCHORS AND
ALL ASSOCIATED CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS. SAW CUT WALLS
TO BE REMOVED WHERE WALLS TO BE REMOVED ARE ADJOINED
TO EXISTWG WALLS TO REMAIN. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE
AND INSTALL TEMPORARY SUPPORTS REQUIRED BY REMOVALS.
CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE REMOVAL AND I OR
RELOCATION OF ALL ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, OR
PLUMBING SYSTEMS, INCLUDING GRILLES AND LOUVERS, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH PROJECT REQUIREMENTS AND SCOPE.
�CONTR4CTOR TO REMOVE EXISTING FLOOR TILE, WALL BASE,
CARPET AND PADDING, AND ASSOCIATED ITEMS. PROVIDE A
SMOOTH AND LEVEL FLOOR TO RECEIVE NEW FINISHES. PATCH
AND REPAIR ANY IMPERFECTIONS AS REQUIRED.
�CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE EXISTING WALL FINISH 8 CORNER
GUARDS. PATCH & REPAIR WALL & PREPARE TO RECEIVE NEW
WALL FINISHES PER FINISH PLAN. SEE SPECIFICATION MANUAL
FOR MORE INFORMATION.
�REMOVE, CLEAN, PAINT 8 REINSTALL THE FOLLOWING ITEMS BUT
NOT LIMITED TO METAL GRILLES, VENTS, BACK-PLATES, COVER
PLATES & RETURNS. USE SPECIALTY PAINT AS NEEDED THAT
WILL BOND TO METAL, MATCHING SPECIFIED COLOR.
BRUSH-DOWNS ON ALL COLORS ARE REQUIRED FOR DESIGNER
APPROVAL.
�CONTR4CTOR TO PROTECT FIRE SPRINKLERS DURING
DEMOLITION & CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES. CLEAN ANY OVER
PAINT THAT MAY EXIST ON ANY ESCUTCHEON.
�EXISTING HOSPITALITY NICHE CABINETRY BOX TO REMAIN, UNO.
EXISTING CABINET DOORS AND COUNTERTOP TO BE REMOVED
AND REPLACE. SEE SPECIFICATION MANUAL AND ELEVATIONS
FOR MORE INFORMATION.
� EXISTING CLOSET SHELFIROD, IRONING BOARD, AND SAFE TO
REMAIN. STORE AND PROTECT DURING CONSTRUCTION.
� EXISTING HOSPITALITY NICHE SINK AND FAUCET TO REMAIN.
STORE AND PROTECT DURING CONSTRUCTION.
� EXISTWG APPLIANCES ARE TO REMAIN. CONTRACTOR TO
PROTECT DURING CONSTRUCTION.
� O EXISTING BATHROOM TOILET TO REMAIN. PROTECT DURING
CONSTRUCTION.
� � SHOWER AND ALL ASSOCIATED COMPONENTS TO BE REMOVED
AND REPLACED WITH NEW SHOWER ASSEMBLY. DRAIN WILL
NEED TO BE MODIRED TO COORDINATE WITH NEW LAYOUT. SEE

� 2 TOILET TISSUE HOLDER TO BE RETAINED FOR REUSE. ALL OTHER
EXISTING BRIGHTWORK AND GRAB BARS TO BE REMOVED AND
REPLACED,UNO.
13 EXISTING BATHROOM VANITY, COUNTERTOP, AND FAUCET TO BE
REMOVED AND REPLACED, UNO. PATCH & REPAIR ANY DAMAGE
TO WALL AND PREPARE FOR NEW.
