3. BOTTOM DOG SHALL BE REMOVED. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT IT BE REMOVED BV TORCH
CIITTING A'V' SECTION OUT OF ONE OF THE ANGLE LEGS TO ALLEVIATE THE LOA� AND THEN
PROCEED TO REMOVE IT. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDEO TO USE A GRINOING WHEEL TO REMOVE
THE WELDS WHILE THE DOG IS UNDER LOADI
4. BOLTS SHALL BE STUFFED INTO HOLES IN THE BEAM COVER PLATE (B} AND THE SIDE PLATES {A}.

6. THE WELD REMNANTS OF THE BOTTOM DOG MAV REMAIN IN PLACE AND DO NOT NEED TO BE
GROUNDSMOOTH.
