Re: BZA Docket No. PZ -2020-000146 V: Rastede Fence Variance
Dear Anna & Frederick:
At the meeting held on Monday, September 28, 2020 the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took
the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you for the property
located at 13067 Wembly Circle:
APPROVED with Condition: Docket No. PZ-2020-000146 V, Development Standards Variance approval for:
Max. 6’ tall fence with 6’ setback & plantings required, 8’ tall privacy fence with 0’ setbacks granted along
Gray Road, with the condition of preserving the existing trees where possible.
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is September 28,
2023.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
