REFER TO ARCHITECTURAL REFLECTED CEILING PLANS FOR EXACT PLACEMENT OF ALL LIGHTING FIXTURES. VERIFY EXACT CEILING CONSTRUCTION WITH ARCHITECTURAL REFLECTED CEILING PLANS AND PROVIDE LIGHTING FIXTURES WITH ALL NECESSARY MOUNTING HARDWARE. 02. ALL RECESSED FIXTURES SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH ALL REQUIRED STRUCTURAL SUPPORTS AS REQUIRED BY THE AHJ. THIS INCLUDES A MINIMUM OF (2) HANGER WIRES SIMILAR TO CEILING GRID WIRES OR JACK CHAIN AT OPPOSITE CORNERS OF ALL RECESSED FIXTURES TO PROVIDE SUPPORT INDEPENDANT OF THE CEILING GRID. RECESSED FIXTURES LOCATED IN A FIRE-RATED CEILING OR WALL SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH A 5-SIDED RATED ENCLOSURE MATCHING THAT OF THE CEILING OR WALL RATINGS. THE ENCLOSURE SHALL MEET CODE AND MANUFACTURER'S REQUIRED CLEARANCES. 03. ALL LIGHT FIXTURES MOUNTED INSIDE OF AN ARCHITECTURAL COVE SHALL EXTEND THE FULL LENGTH OF THE COVE. CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY THE EXACT COVE LENGTH, ORDER QUANTITY OF FIXTURES, AND PROVIDE TELESCOPING END UNITS AS REQUIRED. 04. WHERE RUNNING CIRCUITS THROUGH AN EXPOSED CEILING, ALL WORK SHALL BE PARALLEL AND PERPINDICULAR TO THE BUILDING FRAMING. ALL CIRCUITS SHALL BE IN CONDUIT UNLESS OTHERWISE APPROVED BY OWNER (SEE SPECIFICATIONS). 05. ALL PENETRATIONS THROUGH FIRE RATED WALLS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH AN APPROVED FIRE STOP SYSTEM EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN THE FIRE RATING OF THE WALL TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF FIRE. 06. RACEWAYS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO SERVE AS AN EGC. 07. ANY AND ALL EXTERIOR WALL PENETRATIONS SHALL BE PROPERLY SEALED AND WATERPROOFED TO PREVENT THE ENTRANCE OF AIR OR WATER. 08. ALL LINEAR FLUORESCENT FIXTURES SHALL HAVE AN INTEGRAL UL LISTED BALLAST DISCONNECT FOR FUTURE SERVICING OF THE FIXTURE. 09. ALL EMERGENCY LIGHTING WITH INDIVIDUAL BATTERY BACKUP SHALL BE FED FROM THE SAME CIRCUIT AS THE LIGHTING IN THE AREA WHICH IT SERVES. LIGHTING PLANS - KEYED NOTES CEILING OCCUPANCY SENSOR. LOCATE SENSORS AWAY FROM AIR STREAM OF HVAC DIFFUSERS. CONNECT MULTIPLE SENSORS TOGETHER WITH 16-3 CONTROL CABLE. POWER PACK FOR CONTROL OF LIGHTING. LOCATE POWER PACKS ABOVE CEILING AND CONNECT TO CIRCUIT INDICATED. WALL OCCUPANCY SENSOR. ENSURE THAT SENSORS WILL NOT BE BEHIND DOOR WHEN INSTALLED. PROVIDE A WALL BRACKET FOR THE BACK BOX AS REQUIRED. TYPICAL EM / NIGHT LIGHT. CONNECT TO EMERGENCY PANEL AS SCHEDULED. EM FIXTURES ARE NOT TO BE CONNECTED TO THE OCCUPANCY CONTROLS.
