GENERAL RCP NOTES 1. THESE DRAWINGS ARE INTENDED TO OUTLINE THE GENERAL SCOPE OF THE WORK. CONTRACTORS SHALL FIELD VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS AND DIMENSIONS BEFORE STARTING ANY WORK. CONTRACTORS SHALL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ADHERING TO ALL APPLICABLE CODES AND GENERALLY ACCEPTED TRADE PRACTICES. 2. ALL DIMENSIONS ARE FROM FACE OF STUD TO FACE OF STUD, MASONRY, OR EXISTING WALL SURFACE, UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. 3. EACH CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS. CONTRACTOR SHALL REPORT ANY DISCREPANCIES OR OMISSIONS TO THE ARCHITECT. 4. COORDINATE THE REFLECTED CEILING PLANS WITH THE INTERIOR DESIGN DRAWINGS AS REQUIRED TO DETERMINE MATERIALS, CEILING HEIGHTS, AND FINISHES FOR ALL NEW CEILINGS AND ELEMENTS. 5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT OF ANY DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN THE REFLECTED CEILING PLANS AND THE ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS. 6. REFER TO MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS FOR FIRE ALARM AND EMERGENCY LIGHTING COMPONENTS. 7. COORDINATE ALL MECHANICAL SYSTEM BULKHEAD SIZES WITH MECHANICAL DRAWINGS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF SPRINKLER SYSTEM. 8. REFER TO ELECTRIC LIGHTING PLANS FOR FIXTURE QUANTITIES, MANUFACTURERS AND MODEL NUMBERS. THE REFLECTED CEILING PLAN IS FOR FIXTURE ORIENTATIONS, LOCATIONS AND CEILING GRID LAYOUT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT IF THE REFLECTED CEILING PLANS DIFFERS FROM THE ELECTRICAL LIGHTING PLANS. 9. SPRINKLER HEADS AND RECESSED CAN LIGHTS ARE TO BE LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF THE AFFECTED CEILING PANEL.
