NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY OF CARMEL PLAN COMMISSION Docket No. PZ-2020-00080 DP/ADLS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Cannel Plan Commission will conduct a meeting on the 17th day of November, 2020 at 6:00 o'clock p.m., at the Carmel City Hall, Council Chambers, One Civic Square, 2nd Floor, Carmel, IN 46032, to hold a Public Hearing regarding an application identified by the Docket Number PZ-2020-00080 DP/ADLS (the "Request"). The property that is the subject of the Request is located on the south side of West Carmel Drive, has a common address of 645 West Cannel Drive, Cannel, IN 46032, is approximately 3.73 acres in size and is identified by the Hamilton County Auditor's Office as Tax Parcel Identification Number 16-09-36-00-02-005.000 (the "Real Estate"). Attached to this notice is an aerial photograph depicting the location of the Real Estate. The Real Estate is zoned pursuant to the Atapco Planned Unit Development Ordinance, Ordinance Number Z-581-13. The Request seeks site plan and design approval for three (3) new apartment buildings consisting of a total of a 110 dwelling units. Also attached to this notice are the site plan and building renderings for the Request. A copy of the Request that is described above and the accompanying plans, including the site plan, landscape plan, signage plan and lighting plan, are on file for examination at the Department of Community Services, Cannel City Hall, One Civic Square, Cannel, IN 46032,telephone 317-571-2417. All interested persons desiring to present their views on the proposal, either in writing or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned time and place. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Public Works and Safety for the City of Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana will receive sealed bids for the above described “Project” at Carmel City Hall, Front Desk Attn: City Clerk, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana until 9:45 AM EST and in the Council Chambers at the same address between the hours of 9:45 AM and 10:00 AM EST on or before November 4, 2020, and commencing as soon as practicable thereafter on the same date such bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers of City Hall. No late bids will be accepted. All bids and proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the proposal forms provided with the plans and specifications, which will include the non-collusion affidavit as required by the State of Indiana. The Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1st Street NW: The drainage improvements and road reconstruction of 1st Street NW from 3rd Avenue NW to 2nd Avenue NW will consist of new HMA pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, drainage structures, and reconstruction of the north and south approaches of the Monon Trail to meet the reconstructed 1st Street NW crossing. 2nd Street SW: The sidewalk reconstruction along the north side of 2nd Street SW from 4th Avenue SW to approximately 130 feet west of the Monon Trail will consist of new sidewalk, modified curb, curb ramps, concrete approaches, drainage structure modification, water meter relocations, lawn grading, and sodding.
