THERE IS NO Q100 FLOODPLAINS, FLOODWAY INFRINGES, OR FLOODWAYS WITHIN OR ADJACENT TO THE PROJECT SITE. DRAINAGE SUMMARY: 1. Project Introduction: a. Project location: part of the southwest quarter of section 6, township 17 north, range 3 east in clay township, Hamilton County Indiana, detailed land description see survey; Lat 39.946; Long -86.240; b. Project description: The project is a proposed commercial development (1.33 acres) and future development sub-parcel (1.13 acres) on approximately 2.48 acres. The construction will consist of commercial building (child daycare), asphalt parking, utility extensions, and stormwater management. c. The project site is part of the Michigan Road Retail Development. The introduction and narrative of the master stormwater report is attached in Appendix A. Indicated by the master stormwater report, the regional detention will handle the runoff from the future retail sites (including this project site) and was sized based on CN equals 92.5. Therefore, the control factor of designing the stormwater system for this project site is to ensure the CN value is less or equals to the pre-assumed CN. d. Since the project site is less than 5.0 acres, the stormwater analysis procedure is Rational Method, evaluation 2-yr, 10-yr, and 100-yr for existing condition; 10-yr and 100-yr for post-development condition. 2. Site Stormwater Discharge & Downstream Receiver: b. Pre-development discharge: i. Q2: 1.212 cfs; ii.Q10: 1.601 cfs; iii. Q100: 2.384 cfs. b. Post-development discharge: i. Q10: 4.846 cfs; j. Q100: 7.222 cfs 3. Flood plain and Flood Hazard Information: 3.1. According to the Michigan Road Retail Master Plan, the project site is located in the Zone X, i.e. no flood plain or flood hazard within the project site range. 4. Stormwater Detention: 4.1. Stormwater detention and restricted release will be provided by a large detention basin on the Aria Development site. This detention will store water for the multi-family development and the Michigan Road Retail Site Development which includes the proposed KinderCare Learning Center site. The runoff curve number for the proposed KinderCare Learning Center site is 90.8. The detention sizing calculations assumed a runoff curve number of 92.5 for this commercial development.
