GENERAL COORDINATION NOTES
1. CONFORM TO ALL OWNER'S GENERAL AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK OR AS HEREIN SPECIFIED.
2. ALL WORK IS TO BE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE BUILDING CODE AND ALL APPLICABLE STATE AND LOCAL CODES, ACCESSI BILITY
STANDARDS AS WELL AS ANY APPLICABLE OWNER'S CORPORATE STANDARDS. THE LOCAL CODE AUTHORITY HAS THE AUTHORITY TO INTERPRET CODE
REQUIREMENTS AND THESE INTERPRETATIONS MAY VARY FROM NORMAL INTERPRETATION AND INFORMATION REPRESENTED IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INFORM THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE OR THE ARCHITECT-ENGINEER OF ANY DISCREPANCIES OR DIFFERENCES AND SHALL
PROCEED WITH THE WORK ONLY UPON RECEIVING WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION.
3. THE DRAWINGS SHALL NOT BE USED FOR CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES UNTIL THE SEAL AND SIGNATURE OF THE RESPONSIBLE REGISTRANT APPEARS O N THE
DRAWING, AND PROPER PERMIT FORMS AND RELATED FEES ARE TRANSMITTED BY THE OWNER, OWNER'S AGENT, OR CONTRACTOR TO THE AUTHORITY HAVING
JURISDICTION.
4. CONTRACTOR TO OBTAIN ALL REQUIRED CONSTRUCTION PERMIT FORMS, PAY ALL RELATED FEES, AND ARRANGE FOR ALL REQUIRED INSPECTIONS AND
APPROVALS.
5. BIDDER/CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE SITE, EXAMINE AND VERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THE WORK SHALL BE CONDUCTED AND AC COUNT FOR
EXISTING FIELD CONDITIONS AND ACTUAL FIELD DIMENSIONS IN ALL BIDS SUBMITTED AND ALL WORK PERFORMED. REPORT ANY DISCREPANCIES IN THE
EXISTING CONDITIONS IMMEDIATELY TO THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE OR ARCHITECT/ ENGINEER.
6. CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW ALL CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING SPECIFICATIONS, OF INTERFACING TRADES AND OTHER RELATED CONTRACTS PRIOR TO
BIDDING AND COMMENCEMENT OF WORK TO ENSURE COMPLETE COORDINATION OF FINISHED WORK.
7. EACH SUBCONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE TO COORDINATE AND SCHEDULE THEIR WORK WITH THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND ALL OTHER CONTRACTORS
WHO'S WORK WILL BE AFFECTED. SPECIFICATIONS ARE APPLICABLE AND BINDING TO ALL CONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS. REPORT ALL
DISCREPANCIES, PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION, TO THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE OR ARCHITECT/ ENGINEER FOR REVIEW AND CLARIFICATION.
8. BEFORE AWARD OF CONTRACT, IF THERE ARE QUESTIONS ABOUT INTENT, CLARITY, APPLICATION OF NOTES, OR WORK SHOWN OR SPECIFIED, OR IF
CONFLICTING DIRECTIONS ARE FOUND IN THE DOCUMENTS, THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL REQUEST WRITTEN CLARIFICATION FROM THE OWNER'S
REPRESENTATIVE OR ARCHITECT/ENGINEER. ANY CLARIFICATIONS OR INTERPRETATIONS OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS PROVIDED AFTER CONTRACT AWARD
SHALL BE AT NO ADDITIONAL COST.
9. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT SCALE DRAWINGS FOR CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES. IN THE EVENT OF AN OMISSION OF NECESSARY DIMENSIONS OR INFORMATION,
CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE OR ARCHITECT/ ENGINEER. FIGURED AND CALCULATED DIMENSIONS TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER
SCALED MEASUREMENTS. DETAIL DRAWINGS AND LARGER SCALE DRAWINGS TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER SMALLER SCALE DRAWINGS. ALL PLAN DETAILS AND
WALL SECTIONS ARE ASSUMED TO BE TYPICAL CONDITIONS UNLESS DETAILED OR NOTED OTHERWISE.
