PZ-2020-0080 DP/ADLS Mr. Shestak, Thank you for taking my call and for your information. As the immediate neighbor of the proposed project being presented, we would like to have on record the following concerns. Please note that we do understand the project toward growth and improvement for the City Of Carmel. Current Concerns: 1. Drainage: Our property grade is lower and would like assurance of improved storm water run off. 2. Green Space: Maintain and increase the current space no further loss or improved. 3. Security: Ethically pleasing fencing 6’ acceptable decorative lighting along property line to reduce the use of our parking lot. Our lot is over 80 spaces and could easily become used for over flow. 4. Height of the Structure: The proposed height will consume the natural lighting and over shadow our retail location. We would like see another option in Height? 5. Set Back: Our location and building sets back comfortably from West Carmel Drive. The cur rent height of the Buildings in this (tech park zone) have always been limited in height. The growth to 3 and 4 stories is concerning. 6. Traffic: Visitors are currently unable to exit Chase drive safely. The number of added families will undoubtedly increase this problem. We are in need of a traffic light and or round about for West Carmel Dr. / Chase court to allow visitors to these businesses to enter and egress safely. We are in support of the progress occurring in Carmel and intend to be a vital part of the business community for many years to come. Please register our concerns with during this hearing. * Due to Covid19 - we trust the process for hearing our concerns will remain in place.
