Dear Dr. Rexroth: At the meeting held on Monday, November 23, 2020 the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action regarding the Use Variance (UV) request filed by you for the property located at 230 1st Street NE: APPROVED: PZ-2020-00161 UV: Rexroth Psychology Office, Use Variance approval for Professional Office land use granted on a residentially zoned lot. Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Use Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is November 23, 2023 (that is the deadline date when the land use must be fully implemented with all renovations, required site improvements, etc.) Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
