PZ-2020-00185 to -00186 V: Imhoff Pool Variances Dear Mr. Meyer: At the meeting held Monday, November 23, 2020, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the following action regarding the Development Standard Variances (V) filed by you for the property at 1034 Oswego Rd.: APPROVED with CONDITION: Docket Nos. PZ-2020-00185 V; PZ-2020-00186 V, Development Standards Variance approvals for: 1. Maximum 35% lot cover allowed, 42.5% granted, and 2. Pool must be located 3-ft from easement, encroaching 3-ft into rear easement granted, with the 3. CONDITION the Petitioner will plant two (2) trees on site, with species to be approved by Daren Mindham, City Forester. Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development Standards Variance approvals are valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is November 23, 2023. Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application. And, please also work with Jarrod Huff in the Carmel Engineering Dept. to gain Consent to Encroach approval from the BPW – Board of Public Works and Safety.
