Re: BZA Docket No. PZ -2020-00226 V: Lakeside Apartments Phase II Variance
Dear Mr. Dobosiewicz:
At the virtual meeting held on Monday, January 25, 2021 the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer
took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you for the property
located at 645 W. Carmel Drive (east of Braunability R&D building):
APPROVED: Docket No. PZ-2020-00226 V, Development Standards Variance approval for: Public
entrances required to be provided on the street side of all residential buildings located within 50’ of the street
ROW, Private entrances to units granted.
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is January 25,
2024.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
