Docket No. PZ-2020-00225 V: UDO Section 3.17.A.1.b. – Secondary vehicular entrances shall not be
through residential areas. Requesting emergency vehicle-only secondary access from Washington Blvd.
Dear Mr. Buchheit,
The Carmel Plan Commission Commercial Committee took the following action at its virtual meeting on February 2,
2021 regarding site plan and design approval for three new one-story buildings. (Previous approvals for this site under
Docket No. 18070013 ADLS Amend included a 3-story building in October 2018 and a 2-story building in December
2019.) The overall site is 3.76 acres in size. It is located at 11585 N. Pennsylvania Street and is zoned B-5 within the West
Homeplace Commercial Corridor High Intensity Overlay zone.
APPROVED with Conditions – Subject to final approval from the City of Carmel Engineering Department:
• Docket No. PZ-2020-00210 DP Amend/ADLS Amend: Pennwood Office Park .
• Docket No. PZ-2020-00225 V: UDO Section 3.17.A.1.b. – Secondary vehicular entrances shall not be
through residential areas. Granted emergency vehicle-only secondary access from Washington Blvd.
In order to assist the Department’s review, please attach a copy of this letter when submitting application for any permits
regarding the improvements contained within this approval.
