HomeMy WebLinkAboutPacket for HO 02-22-21Short memo Introducing the project We will be instaliing an Imagine Pools Fiberglass Pool. The model will be the Fantasy 26' model, with the dimensions being approximately 261 x 12'6" W. We will also be installing 3' of concrete going around the perimeter of the pool. Since the backyard is sloped, we will also be installing a retaining wall that will be approximately 64' in length and approximately 2' in height. We will have to go slightly past the Tree Preservation Easement Line in one part of the project, but most of the project will be in front of the Tree Preservation Easement Line. No trees, shrubs, or plants of any kind will need to be removed or will be damaged during this process. We simply just need to be Ao-ved to go past the Tree Preservation Easement Line in one area of the project and need approval to go close to the Tree Preservation Easement Line so that the homeowners can have an enjoyable amount of space between their home and their pool. 14385 Arnett Drive pool Setback Hearing Scanned wilh CamScanner Statement of Valiance request We are requesting this variance so that the pool does not have to be so close to the home. Without the variance approval, the S perimeter of concrete would be adjacent to the home, giving the homeowners 3' of space between their home and their pool. The homeowners are wanting to add 4' of additional concrete between their home and 3' perimeter of concrete around the pool so that they have more walking room between their home and the pool. The Tree Presen ation Easement Line is slightly slanted, which is why only part of the project will go past the easement line, while the rest of the project will approach the easement line but not go past the line. Statement of Support This project should be supported because it will bring the family closer together and will allow the family to have a nice space for family and friendly: gatherings. A pool area is a wonderful feature to have, especially in a forever home, so approving this project -\Hill bring years and years of fun filled memories to this family. Another thing to consider is although the Tree Preservation Easement Line will be slightly passed with this project and approached in the other areas of this project, no trees or plants of any, kind will be damaged or will have to be removed, which is a very important factor.
