EROSION CONTROL NOTES
1.ADDITIONAL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL MEASURES MY BE
REQUIRED BY THE INSPECTOR.
2.DURING CONSTRUCTION KEEP PAVEMENTS AND SIDEWALKS CLEAN
AND WORK AREAS IN AN ORDERLY CONDITION. CLEAN WHEELS OF
VEHICLES BEFORE LEAVING THE SITE TO AVOID TRACKING SOIL
ONTO ROADS, WALKS, OR OTHER PAVED AREAS.
3.ALL PROPOSED EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL SHALL BE IN
CONFORMANCE WITH CHAPTER 600 OF THE CITY OF CARMEL
STORMWATER TECHNICAL STANDARDS MANUAL, LATEST EDITION.
DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN THE PLANS AND THE MANUAL SHALL NOT
ALLEVIATE THE CONTRACTOR FROM ADHERING TO THE
REQUIREMENTS AS SET FORTH IN THE MANUAL.
1.SEE DRAWING GD0.1 FOR GENERAL NOTES AND ADDITIONAL
LEGEND.
2.TOPOGRAPHIC CONDITIONS AND EXISTING UTILITIES SHOWN WERE
PROVIDED BY CIVIL ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS, INC. THE
ENGINEER MAKES NO GUARANTEES THAT THE UNDERGROUND
UTILITIES SHOWN COMPRISE ALL SUCH UTILITIES IN THE AREA,
EITHER IN SERVICE OR ABANDONED.
3.CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS IN THE
PROJECT AREA INCLUDING UNDERGROUND UTILITY CONDITIONS,
LOCATION AND DEPTH PRIOR TO ANY OTHER SITE CONSTRUCTION.
REPORT ANY DISCREPANCIES TO THE ENGINEER.
4.SEE EROSION CONTROL DETAILS ON SHEET G4.2
5.NO EARTH DISTURBING ACTIVITY MAY COMMENCE WITHOUT AN
APPROVED STORM WATER MANAGEMENT PERMIT.
6.UTILITY RELOCATIONS REQUIRED BY THE PROJECT SHALL BE THE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DEVELOPER. UTILITY LINE RELOCATIONS
REQUIRED FOR ROAD PROJECTS THAT RESULT IN A CONFLICT
WITH PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT SHALL BE THE DEVELOPERS
RESPONSIBILITY TO RESOLVE WITH THE UTILITY. EXISTING POLE
LINES REQUIRED TO BE RELOCATED TO WITHIN ONE FOOT OF
PROPOSED RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE.
7.DAMAGE TO THE EXISTING RIGHT-OF-WAY SHALL
RESTORED/REPAIRED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE CITY AT THE
COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT. THE CONTRACTOR IS
ENCOURAGED TO INSPECT THE RIGHT-OF-WAY WITH THE CITY
PRIOR TO THE START OF CONSTRUCTION TO DOCUMENT THE
EXISTING CONDITION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY.
