Subject to the foregoing, the perimeter rear yard landscaping shall comply substantially with the quality and character of the plantings shown on the Rear Yard Landscape Exhibit, attached hereto as Exhibit I. In addition to the existing shrub screening, an AC unit in the rear yard of homes built on the north and east perimeters shall be screened by a minimum 4' tall fence of the same style as the courtyard fence. The fence shall include 2 sides with one side located to screen the AC unit from the perimeter and the other side located to screen the AC unit from the nearest street. COURTYARD LANDSCAPING REQUIREMENT Where courtyards “side” to open space or are located along the street on a corner lot, additional landscaping shall be provided. All side courtyards shall be landscaped. PLANT SCHEDULE NORTHWEST EXHIBIT I - TYPICAL REAR YARD LANDSCAPE ADDITIONAL CORNER LOT LANDSCAPING On the 4 lots that have an outward facing courtyard at each street connection (Matt Street (1), Smokey Ridge (2) and Millgate (1)) additional landscape screening shall be provided along the courtyard, substantially as shown on the attached Exhibit K-1. See Sheet L201.
