Hi Fred and Sally,
The Board of Directors for the Smokey Knoll HOA has reviewed and APPROVED your architectural submission
for the following:
Project Description:
Installation of an in-ground pool with concrete decking. Project design also shows a locking cover will be
installed in compliance with State regulations. The pool equipment location is adjacent to the rear side of the
home.
The board asks that you consider screening the pool equipment if it will be located outside of your fence. Plant
material would be a potential solution to this issue.
We understand that you currently also have an existing 48" perimeter fence. Should you want to replace the
fence in the future with a different style or height, we ask that you contact us with your plans. Thank you!

All construction must commence within 180 days of this letter. If construction has not been commenced within
the 180 days, such approval shall be deemed withdrawn. Once construction is commenced, all work shall be
completed within 180 days of commencement.
Approval of plans shall not constitute a representation, warranty, or guarantee that such plans and
specifications comply with engineering design practices or zoning and building ordinances, or other
governmental agency regulations or restrictions. The board shall not be responsible for reviewing, nor shall its
approval of any plans or design, be deemed approved from the standpoint of structural safety or conformance
with building or other codes. By approving such plans and specifications, neither the Board of Directors, the
Members thereof, the Association, nor any Member thereof assumes any liability or responsibility therefore or
for any defect in the construction or improvement from such plans or specifications. Neither the Association,
the Board of Directors or any Members thereof shall be liable to any Member, Owner, Occupant, or other
person or entity for any damage, loss or prejudice suffered or claimed on account of (1) the approval or
disapproval of any plans, drawings, or specifications, whether or not defective, or (2) the construction or
performance of any work whether or not pursuant to the approved plans, drawings, or specifications.

At this time, the Centerpoint staff is rotating time in the office with also working
remotely. Please continue to email staff as this is the best method to reach us. Our goal is to

understanding as we all navigate this health crisis and make adjustments to our work flow.
If it is necessary for you to drop something off to the Centerpoint office, we will work with you to
find an acceptable solution. Please just reach out with details of your specific circumstance.
