Gramercy Perimeter Landscaping ADLS Amend Proiect Description
The applicant, Buckingham Properties, LLC ("Buckingham"), has filed an ADLS Amend
application pertaining to perimeter landscaping requirements for the Gramercy development
(excluding the Gramercy West portion of the development that includes the David Weekley
community). To this end, the real estate that is the subject of this request is shown on the enclosed
perimeter landscape plans.
By way of background, a DP/ADLS application was approved by the City of Camel, Plan
Commission on August 21, 2012 pursuant to Docket Number 11100022 DP/ADLS and a portion
of this approval pertained to the perimeter landscaping plans for the Gramercy development (the
"2012 Approval"). After the 2012 Approval, on April 16, 2018, the City Council approved the
Gramercy West PUD Ordinance Number Z-630-18 which pertained to the western portion of
overall Gramercy development and the Gramercy West area is currently under development by
David Weekley Homes. As a result of the foregoing approvals, the 2012 Approval requires
amendment in order to set out the remaining portions of perimeter landscaping that are required to
be installed on the Gramercy development.
A representative of Buckingham recently walked the site with the City of Carmel's Urban
Forester and it is our understanding that the perimeter landscape plans that are enclosed with this
ADLS Amend application have been reviewed and agreed to by the Urban Forester. Further,
Buckingham agrees, as a condition of approval of the requested ADLS Amendment application,
that the perimeter landscaping set out in this application shall be installed no later than November
1, 2021.
