Refer to PlantingSoils Plan for detailed soil profile characteristics. Soil under existing trees &in tree protection areas to remain undisturbed, refer to Site Preparation Plan.2.Sod limit line is approximate. Sod to limits of grading and constructionrelated disturbance. Contractor responsible for restoration of anyunauthorized disruption outside of designated construction area.3.Contractor responsible for erosion control in all seeded and/or sodded areas.All disturbed areas are to be protected within 24 hours. Do not disturb morearea than can be completed and protected within 24 hours.4.Temporary fencing shall be installed around the lawn areas if the project isopened to the public before the lawn is established.5.All existing trees within the project limits determined to be interfering withconstruction activity to be pruned by a certified arborist as directed by theLandscape Architect.6.The General Contractor shall be responsible for replacing any existing treesthat the Landscape Architect determines to have been damaged duringconstruction, at no additional cost.7.All bed lines are to be spade cut to a minimum depth of 3 inches unlessotherwise shown on the plans. Curved bedlines are to be smooth and notsegmented. Refer to Planting Bed Edge Condition, Detail 04, Sheet L7.06.8.Contractor to restore 3" of shredded hardwood mulch to all areas ofconstruction disturbance within existing landscape beds. Contractor toremove and dispose of all debris, stones and dirt clods 1" or larger.9.Plants and other materials are quantified and summarized for theconvenience of the Owner and jurisdictional agencies only. Confirm andinstall sufficient quantities to complete the work as drawn and specified. Noadditional payments will be made for materials required to complete thework as drawn and specified.10.Refer to specifications for additional conditions, standards and notes.11.Contractor responsible for initial planting of annuals in all planter potlocations. Plants to be seasonally appropriate to time of planting. Submitplant selection for review by Landscape Architect.12.See Sheet L204 for Plant List.
