RE: Albany Village
We have reviewed the construction plans submitted to the Hamilton County Surveyor's Office on April
21, 2021 for this project and have the following comments:
1. The project falls in the incorporated area and MS4 jurisdiction of the City of Carmel.
2. The proposed project DOES NOT fall in a Carmel Wellhead Protection Zone.
3. The proposed project falls in the Williams Creek Regulated Drain Watershed.
4. There is a regulated drain in the southwest corner of your property currently serving as its outlet
which was not shown in the plans. Our office needs to know how the current outlet will be
affected. Please clarify.
5. There is a stretch of unregulated drain between your property and Overbrook Farms. Our office
may want to incorporate that stretch of drain with Lite approval of this subdivision. I will discuss
with the county surveyor and get back to you.
6. This project's drainage system is to be county regulated and will require the following procedural
items: Petition for regulated drain subdivision, engineer's estimate, and all associated bonds for
120% of construction cost.
7. Please note, additional comments may be warranted at a later date.
