I’ll dig, but I think Nick already looked into that and it had to go commercial/(State design release) as it’s for Carmel Clay
Parks/ City….. not a residential backyard…
I’m going off memory, but locally I think we are $0 on the permit as it is a government project/site….

We are getting close to wanting to start the structure at sunrise .So, I just want to know the next step.i will send a
copy of the print .do i need to pull a permit to start it.

675 IAC 12-6-4 Exemptions from design release requirement
Authority: IC 22-13-2-13
Affected: IC 4-21.5; IC 12-13-4-3; IC 22-15-3
Sec. 4. (a) Design releases are necessary for construction on all Class 1 structures, except the following:
(6) One (1) story detached Class 1 structures that:
(A) do not exceed five hundred (500) square feet in floor area;
(B) have at least one (1) unenclosed side; and
(C) are used for personnel shelters, such as:
(i) bus stops;
(ii) picnic shelters; and
(iii) gazebos.

question scene we are just little over 500 sq ft .if we reduce it to under 500 sq ft does that get us out of sending it to
state for approval thanks
