Re: BZA Docket No. PZ -2021-00069 V: The Domain at Bennett Farms Sign Variance
Dear Ms. Mcadams:
At the meeting held on Monday, June 28, 2021 the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following
action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you for the property located just north of
11150 N. Michigan Road:
APPROVED with Conditions: Docket No. PZ-2021-00069 V, Development Standards Variance approval for:
Prohibited Sign, Off Premise Ground Sign granted in the median of Bennett Pkwy, with the following
conditions:
1. The Reserve at William’s Glen is equally represented on the new sign (and the existing shared
ground sign is removed), and
2. The Planning/Zoning Dept. (DOCS) must approve the final sign design (before a sign permit is
issued).
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is June 28, 2024.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
