Carmel, IN 46280 Re: BZA Docket No. PZ -2021-00097 V: Griffith Garage Size Variance Dear Mr. Griffith: At the meeting held on Monday, June 28, 2021 the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you for the property located at 10980 Beechwood Drive West: APPROVED: Docket No. PZ-2021-00097 V, Development Standards Variance approval for: Maximum 24’ x 30’ detached garage allowed, 28’ x 40’ granted. Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is June 28, 2024. Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
