Locate selective demolition equipment and remove debris and materials so as not to impose excessive loads on supporting walls, floors, or framing. 3. Dispose of demolished items and materials promptly. 4. Clean salvaged items and store items in secure area until delivery to Owner. 5. Clean and repair items to functional condition adequate for intended reuse. Reinstall items in locations indicated. Comply with installation requirements for new materials and equipment. Provide connections and supports necessary to make item function for use indicated. 6. Protect construction indicated to remain against damage and soiling during demolition. 7. Clean adjacent structures and improvements of dust, dirt, and debris caused by demolition operations. 03 01 03 -CONCRETE PATCHING/INFILL MATERIAL A. Polymer-Modified, Cementitious Patching Mortar: Packaged, dry mix for repair of concrete and that contains a latex additive as either a dry powder or a separate liquid that is added during mixing. 1. Manufacturers: Subject to compliance with requirements, provide products by one of the following: a. Dayton Superior –Polyfast FS b. Euclid Chemical Company (The); an RPM company. c. MAPEI Corporation. d. Sika Corporation. e. W.R. Meadows, Inc. 2. Compressive Strength: Not less than 5000 psi at 28 days when tested according to ASTM C 109. 3. Prepare existing concrete slab area, and install per manufacturer’s instructions 05 40 00 -COLD-FORMED METAL FRAMING A. Ceiling Joist Framing and Soffit Framing. 1. Manufacturers: Subject to compliance with requirements, provide products by one of the following: a. AllSteel & Gypsum Products, Inc. b. ClarkWestern Building Systems, Inc. c. Consolidated Fabricators Corp; Building Products Division d. Dietrich Metal Framing e. MarinoWARE 2. Coating: G90 or equivalent. 05 50 00 -METAL FABRICATIONS A. Metals 1. Metal Surfaces: Provide materials with smooth, flat surfaces unless otherwise indicated. For metal fabrications exposed to view, provide materials without seam marks, roller marks, rolled trade names, or blemishes. 2. Provide stainless-steel fasteners for fastening aluminum, stainless steel and nickel silver. 3. Anchors capable of sustaining, without failure, a load equal to four times the load imposed when installed in concrete, as determined by testing according to ASTM E488, conducted by a qualified independent testing agency. 4. Weld corners and seams continuously so that at exposed connections, finish exposed welds and surfaces smooth and blended so no roughness shows after finishing and contour of welded surface matches that of adjacent surface. 06 10 53 -MISCELLANEOUS ROUGH CARPENTRY A. Lumber: DOC PS 20 and applicable rules of grading agencies indicated. B. Maximum moisture content of lumber: 15 percent unless otherwise indicated. C. Provide miscellaneous lumber indicated and lumber for support or attachment of other construction, including: 1. Blocking 2. Nailers 3. Furring 4. Utility shelving D.
