Thank you again for your help! Here’s their letter. I’ve already spoken to the City and I’ve been told since the spacomes with a locking cover, no fence is required.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks for the info. Regarding the HOA approval, can you forward me the email from your HOA thatsays they need the building permit first? That will allow us to release before we have their approval, which we would typically require.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching back out to me! I appreciate your time and assistance!
I’ve already uploaded all of the requested materials to my original application for a permit. I’veattached them to this email as well. I do not have any further details about the swim spa other thanwhat is attached to the original application. An internet search revealed nothing like that unfortunately.Like any hot tub/spa, the model we are getting will come equipped by the manufacturer with aninsulated locking cover. It is standard for that cover to be installed in the day the spa is delivered. Thespa will be heated year round. The cover keeps the warmth in while keeping kids, leaves, critters out.
My HOA will not give me approval until I get a building permit from the City of Carmel. Once I get abuilding permit, I will forward you the HOA approval.
Please let me know if I can provide any additional details.
Kind Regards,

I read your email regarding your swim spa. I spoke to our inspectors and they indicated that you wouldneed to submit the following:
* Specs for this specific model (if you don’t have this, you can let us know the model # and weshould be able to look it up online) * Site plan showing where this will be placed on the property * HOA approval (if your property is part of an HOA) * Details on whether this will have a fence around it, or a cover
If you just want to reply to this email with the documents attached I can get these plans in for reviewASAP.
