Hollibaugh, Director L E T T E R of G R A N T July 27, 2021 Bruce Arick 4919 Essex Drive Carmel, IN 46033 Re: BZA Docket No. PZ -2021-00120 V: Arick Deck Setback Variance Dear Mr. Arick: At the meeting held on Monday, July 26, 2021 the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you for the property located at 4919 Essex Drive: APPROVED with CONDITIONS: Docket No. PZ-2021-00120 V, Development Standards Variance approval for: Minimum 3’ setback from easement required, 21’4” encroachment into Drainage & Utility Easement granted with the following conditions: • The Petitioner obtaining proper approvals from the Carmel Engineering Dep t. and the Hamilton County Drainage Board / Surveyor’s Office. Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is July 26, 2024. Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
