Dear Carmel TAC Members,
HWC Engineering is submitting a 7 Lot Re‐plat for 2 townhome buildings in the Village of West Clay – Uptown West of
Towne Road. Since the construction of the public infrastructure and most of the public utilities have already been built
and installed, this submittal does not require a detailed review of construction plans. There have been no changes of
building setback (or build‐to) that was originally proposed and approved as part of the original plat/re‐plat. HWC, on
behalf of Onyx + East, is only seeking Re‐Plat approval of Lots 1315‐1321 (formerly Blocks 4 & 5) to increase side yards to
meet side yard setback minimums and is shooting for an August 11th submission to be heard at the August 18th Carmel
Board of Public Works meeting. If you recall, we have submitted a similar project earlier this year except this time we are
adjusting some Lot lines to help with the side yard setbacks. This has been submitted through Carmel’s ProjectDox and
the documents can be found on ProjectDox for the Re‐plat of Lots 1315‐1321, as well as an as‐built Aerial photo. The
utility information shown on the Aerial is the as‐built location. The only minor utility construction is the completion of
the final connections to the townhomes.
Some of the members typically request a Paper Copy for the formal TAC review, but since this is only a Plat review, it’s
likely there will be no comments. I’m going to assume that a paper copy is not required, however please reach out to me
if you still need a paper copy mailed to you.

Dear Carmel TAC Members,
HWC Engineering is submitting a 7 Lot Re‐plat for 2 townhome buildings in the Village of West Clay – Uptown West of
Towne Road. Since the construction of the public infrastructure and most of the public utilities have already been built
and installed, this submittal does not require a detailed review of construction plans. There have been no changes of
building setback (or build‐to) that was originally proposed and approved as part of the original plat/re‐plat. HWC, on
behalf of Onyx + East, is only seeking Re‐Plat approval of Lots 1315‐1321 (formerly Blocks 4 & 5) to increase side yards to
meet side yard setback minimums and is shooting for an August 11th submission to be heard at the August 18th Carmel
Board of Public Works meeting. If you recall, we have submitted a similar project earlier this year except this time we are
adjusting some Lot lines to help with the side yard setbacks. This has been submitted through Carmel’s ProjectDox and
the documents can be found on ProjectDox for the Re‐plat of Lots 1315‐1321, as well as an as‐built Aerial photo. The
utility information shown on the Aerial is the as‐built location. The only minor utility construction is the completion of
the final connections to the townhomes.
Some of the members typically request a Paper Copy for the formal TAC review, but since this is only a Plat review, it’s
likely there will be no comments. I’m going to assume that a paper copy is not required, however please reach out to me
if you still need a paper copy mailed to you.
