As I mentioned, the only change will be that of the existing signage to that of illuminated letters. i understand the aesthetic goals the City of Carmel has in upgrading this commercial area, and feel this proposal is within that scope. The scale and design of the complex combined with the illuminated signage should provide sufficient visibility from the right of way. The immediate changes would accommodate 50% of the signage of the complex leaving only two signs to be converted. Knowing that other complexes have taken as long as three years, we are proposing to change to the new signage in a two year period.
