A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA
REGARDING TRANSFER OF FUNDS BY THE CARMEL POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Carmel Police Department was recently awarded a Federal Block Grant in
the amount of Nineteen Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Seven Dollars ($19,437.00), to be used in
community crime prevention, which grant is contingent upon the City matching a portion of that
grant in the amount of Two Thousand One Hundred Sixty Dollars ($2,160.00), and,
WHEREAS, the Carmel Police Department has excess funds in the amount of Two Thousand
One Hundred Sixty Dollars ($2,160.00) to transfer to its Fund 210 (Law Enforcement Continuing
Education Fund) from its Line Item 100 (Full Time Regular Salaries).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Carmel,
Indiana, that the Carmel Police Department be authorized to transfer:
$2,160.00 from CPD Line Item 100 (Full Time Regular Salaries)
into
CPD Fund 210 (Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund).
