A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA ACCEPTING
TITLE TO PROPERTY BY QUITCLAIM DEED
WHEREAS, National City Bank of Indiana f/k/a Union State Bank (the "Bank")
has offered to quitclaim to the City of Carmel, Indiana (the "City") approximately 463.92
square feet of real estate more particularly described on the Quitclaim Deed attached
hereto as Exhibit A (the "Property"); and
WHEREAS, the City desires to accept title to the Property pursuant to such
Quitclaim Deed for the purpose of constructing a Clock Tower; and
WHEREAS, a Quitclaim Deed is required to be recorded in the office of the
Hamilton County Recorder.
NOW, TttEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Carmel, Indiana by and
through its Board of Public Works and Safety that the City hereby accepts title to the
Property as defined above by the Quitclaim Deed attached hereto as Exhibit A and that the
City Attorney is hereby authorized to record the Quitclaim Deed with the Hamilton
County Recorder.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City of Carreel, Indiana Board of public Works

QUITCLAIM DEED
THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH, That National City Bank of Indiana ("Grantor"), ffk/a
Union State Bank, hereby quitclaims to the City of Camel, Indiana, for the sum of One and No/100
Dollars ($1.00) and other valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, all
right, title and interest in the following described real estate, located in Hamilton County, Indiana:
A part of Lot Four of the Original Plat of Carmel, recorded in Plat Book E page
512 in the Office of the Hamilton County Recorder, Hamilton County, Indiana and
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest Corner of Lot Four of the Original Plat of Carmel;
thence East along the South line of said Lot Four 20 feet to the East edge of an
existing landscaped area and the Point of Beginning; thence North along the East
edge of said landscaped area 24 feet; thence East 19.33 feet; thence South 24 feet to
the South line of said Lot Four; thence West along said Lot line 19.33 feet to the
Point of Beginning and containing 463.92 square feet more or less.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor, by its duly authorized representative, has caused this
Instrument to be executed this 1st day of November, 1996.
