RE: Resolution CC-03-17-97-02
'The above-referenced Resolution is required by Indiana Code 36-1-10.5-5 which states
that the City fiscal body must first officially express an interest in the acquisition of land
before action can be taken toward such a purchase. The land acquisition in question
involves land immediately north of the Carmel Police Department Headquarters and will be
used to accommodate additional parking for that facility. The land may also be utilized for
· other governmental purposes should it become necessary.
