Re: BZA Docket Nos. PZ-2021-00129 V; PZ-2021-00130 V: Faith Apostolic Church Variances
Dear Mr. Shinaver:
At the meeting held Monday, August 23, 2021, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the following
action regarding the Development Standard Variances (V) filed by you for the property located at 1212 E. 116th Street:
APPROVED: Docket Nos. PZ-2021-00129 to 00130 V, Development Standards Variance approvals for:
1. Minimum 35-ft front yard building allowed, 6-ft granted, and
2. Maximum 35-ft building height allowed, 38.5-ft granted.
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approvals are valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been
received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is August 23, 2024.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
