1. UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE, EXISTING CEILINGS TO REMAIN
THROUGHOUT. REPLACE ALL DAMAGED OR DIRTY CEILING TILES WITH
NEW TO MATCH EXISTING. PROVIDE LIKE TILES IN INDIVIDUAL ROOMS
TO CREATE UNIFORM LOOK.
2. ALL SWITCHES AND FACEPLATES TO MATCH EXISTING.
3. WHERE MULTIPLE SWITCHES ARE SHOWN, PROVIDE (1) GANG BOX WITH
A SINGLE COVERPLATE.
4. CONFIRM ALL PENDANT LIGHT LOCATIONS AND HEIGHTS WITH
DESIGNER AND PROVIDE NEW ELECTRICAL AS REQUIRED. DO NOT CUT
CORD OF PENDANT UNTIL EXACT HEIGHT IS FINALIZED.
5. PROVIDE EMERGENCY LIGHTING IN TENANT SPACE AS REQUIRED PER
NEMA AND IBC. EMERGENCY BATTERY PACKS OR LIGHTS CONNECTED
TO AN EMERGENCY POWER SOURCE ARE REQUIRED IF THE SPACE
CONTAINS 50 PERSONS OR MORE. FIXTURES SHOWN ON PLAN ARE FOR
REFERENCE ONLY.
6. LIGHTING PLACEMENT AND QUANTITIES ARE FOR REFERENCE ONLY AND
ARE TO BE PROVIDED BY LIGHTING CONSULTANT AND ELECTRICIAN.
ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THAT LAY-
OUT AND TOTAL WATTAGE MEETS ASHRAE 90.1 STANDARDS AND LIGHT
LEVELS ARE APPROPRIATE FOR THE USE OF EACH SPACE. OVER 50% OF
THE LIGHTING WILL BE REPLACED WITH NEW, SO ASHRAE WATTAGE
REQUIREMENTS WILL NEED TO BE MET.
7. UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE ALL NEW SWITCHES MUST BE AN
OCCUPANCY SENSOR COMBO UNIT WITH BOTH ULTRASONIC AND
INFRARED TECHNOLOGY WITH A ONE BUTTON OVERRIDE. OCCUPANCY
SENSORS ARE TO BE LOCATED SUCH THAT OCCUPANCY WITHIN ANY
PORTION OF INCLUDED AREA IS DETECTED. PROVIDE CEILING
MOUNTED OCCUPANCY SENSORS IN OPEN AREAS AS REQUIRED.
8. DECORATIVE FIXTURE(S) SPECIFIED ARE TO BE PURCHASED THRU
LOCAL COMMERCIAL VENDOR TO INSURE COMMERCIAL WARRANTIES.
PURCHASING FROM OTHER VENDORS OR AVENUES IS AT THE
SUPPLIER'S / EC'S RISK NOT, THE PARALLEL DESIGN GROUP'S, OWNER'S,
OR TENANT'S.

1. SCOPE INTENT IS FOR EXISTING MECHANICAL SYSTEMS TO REMAIN.
EXISTING FLEX DUCT AND DIFFUSERS BEING RELOCATED AS
NECESSARY PER WALL LAYOUT. NO MAIN DUCTWORK BEING
RELOCATED. MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
NOTIFYING APPLICABLE PARTIES IF ADDITIONAL WORK IS REQUIRED.
2. DIFFUSER LOCATIONS ARE SHOWN ON PLAN FOR REFERENCE ONLY,
CONTRACTOR IS TO PLACE LOCATION OF DIFFUSERS AND RETURN AIR
GRILLES AS REQUIRED BY CODE. IF IN GOOD CONDITION, EXISTING
H.V.A.C. DEVICES SALVAGED FROM DEMOLITION CAN BE SUBSTITUTED

4. LOCATE THERMOSTATS WHERE APPROPRIATE PER MECHANICAL
DESIGN. ALL THERMOSTATS TO HAVE LED DISPLAY WITH LOCKOUT
CAPABILITY AND LOCK BOX. VERIFY LOCATIONS WITH TENANT
BEFORE INSTALLING.
5. WHERE EXPOSED DECK IS SHOWN, VERIFY WITH DESIGNER AND
TENANT IF DUCT WORK SHOULD BE SPIRAL DUCT.
