HomeMy WebLinkAboutBPW-06-13-83 ROW/South St. RESOLUTION OF THE CARMEL BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS Petitioners, WILLIAM K. AND SALLY E. WIGGAM and THOMAS D. AND CAROLINE R. WILSON, having petitioned the Carmel Board of Works to vacate a dedicated street right-of-way known as South Street, the legal description of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and The Carmel Board of Public Works having noticed a public hearing and conducted such public hearing now grant the Petition to Vacate the dedicated street right-of-way pursuant to I.C. 36-7-3-12 and By this Resolution, vacate and terminate any ownership interest in South Street, causing reversion of ownership of the north half (an area of 40 feet by 165 feet immediate adjacent to Lot 12 in D. W. Kinzer's First Addition to the town of Carmel, Indiana, the plat of which is recorded in Deed Record 52, page 440 in the Office of the Recorder of Hamilton County, Indiana) to William K. and Sally E. Wiggam; and Further, that the South one-half of South Street (an area 20 feet by 165 feet immediately adjacent to Lot 13 in D. W. Kinzer's First Addition to the town of Carmel, Indiana, the plat of which recorded in Deed Record 52, is page 440 in the Office of the Recorder of Hamilton County, Indiana) to Thomas D. Kinzer Addition to the Town of Carmel, Indiana, Sec- tion 30, Township 18 North, Range 4 East of Hamilton County, Indiana, consent to the vacating of the street right-of-way known as South Street, Town of Carmel, Indiana, which streets runs in a generally easterly and westerly direction between Lots 12 and 13 of David W.
