HomeMy WebLinkAboutBPW-10-16-85 Sewer/MeridianRESOLUTION Whereas, the Clay Township Regional Waste District needs to file an Application to the Indiana Department of Commerce for a Community Improvement Program Grant for the upsizing of Interceptor Sewers in the U.S. EPA Grant Project so the Meridian Corridor Area will have access for Sewer Service. Whereas, the District cannot be an Applicant for the Grant due to program guidelines but can be a participant if the Application is filed on a joint basis with an eligible Community. Whereas, the City of Carmel is an eligible Community. Now, therefore, the City of Carmel through its Board of Public Works and Safety does hereby authorize Honorable Jane Reiman, Mayor, City of Carmel, to enter into an Agreement with the Clay Township Regional Waste District to submit as Joint Application with the District and for the City of Carmel to be the lead agency in applying for the Grant and the District will be responsible for Administration of the Project.
