HomeMy WebLinkAboutBPW-12-18-89 Purchasing Agents CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA BOARD OF PUBLIC WOP~KS & SAFETY R .s0 , TI0 WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Carmel, Indiana, establishes rules, procedures, and guidelines for City employees and department heads of the City; and WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety approves contracts, agreements, and other obligations of the City; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the smooth and effective government that certain authority be granted to the Mayor, Clerk-Treasurer, City Court Judge, and City department heads to enter into service and maintenance agreements for City equipment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Carmel, Indiana, that: The Mayor, Clerk-Treasurer, City Court Judge, and City department heads of the City of Carmel, Indiana, shall be authorized to enter into service and maintenance agreements for City equipment used by their respective department for a period not to exceed one (1) years. Further, that no one shall enter into a service or maintenance agreement for City equipment used in any department unless funds exist within that department's budget to permit the payment of that anticipated obligation. All of which is resolved this 18th day of December, 1989, by the Carmel Board of Public Works, Hamilton County, Indiana.
