BPW-03-02-05-03 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, REGARDING THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY WHEREAS, the City of Carmel, Indiana (hereinafter, the ' C'ty' ) owns certain property located at 30 West Main Street in Carmel, Indiana, such property being more specifically described in the attached Exhibit A incorporated herein by refereuce (the "l~roperty ~'); and WHEREAS, the Property is in a part of Carmel Old Town which is in tile midst of significant redevelopment and revitalization; and WHEREAS, the City of Carmel Redevelopment Commission (the "CRC") is a governinental entity created and authorized to administer certain redevelopment activities within the City; and WHEREAS, the CRC of tile City is engaged in significant redevelopment projects in Carmel Old Town; and WHEREAS, to facilitate the redevelopment of Carmel Old Town, the City is interested in conveying the Property to tile CRC; and WHEREAS, the CRC is interested in acqu!ring the City Property from the City; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that tile City of Carmel Board ol' Public Works and Safety hereby makes the following findings: The City shall transfer all of its interest in tile City Property to the CRC upon such terms and conditions as the CRC and the City shall agree and upon the later of (i) the date on which a resolution regarding the transfer is adopted by the Common Conncil; or (ii) the date on which a substantially similm' resolution is adopted by the CRC.
