Board met in regular session,all memberm being present.
Minutes of previous meetihg were read and epproved.
Vote for D.W.Puckett for Clerk and Treasurer was canvassed and
found that he received thirty four votes, he being duly elected
he was then sworn in and duly~~/~.~/~f

The resignation of R.C.Johmson was accepted and him bill
for six dollarm for services renderded as Clerk and Treasurer
was allowed.
The meeting was continued over until June,27, 1910.

the office of Clerk and Treasurer for the town of Carmel, to
which I have been elected, to

with Main Cross and Water Streets in the town of CA~IEL,
Indiana, Therefore] Be it ordained by the Trustees of the
town of Carnel, Hamilton County, Imdiana, That the Morion Rail-
road Company , a corporation owing and operating a line of
railroad within and through the Corporate limits of said town,
that said Company shall place electric gongs or bells at a
point where ~ain Cross Street and Water Street in said town of
Carmel crosses said railroad and maintain the same at its cost.
This ordinance to be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and due publication thereof made for two
comsecutive~in the Carmel Standard of said town.
The first of which shall be on the ~--~ day of~__~ 1910.

Mr. Chas. Davis brought up the matter of opening the
street so~th of his property , he claiming that Mrs. Wells
has fenced in ~0 ft. more than belongs to her. Attorney
Hershman was instructed to investigate the matter.The session
was continued till the call of
the President.

order.A Discussion of the work on willow st. took place.
Roberts and Patty a bill,'for $9.00 for printing fire or-
dinance. It was moved and seconded to allow the bill,,~otion
carried. A discussion of the improvement of College Ave. then
took place.
A motion to adjourn was made and carried.

Pay Roll for $26.~3 was presented by J.T.Booth and all-
owed.
B.D.Hall presented a bill for labor of $?.50. Bill was
allowed.
A Petition was read asking for the opening and exten~on
of Willow St. from South Corporation line north to Water St. ~
An Ordinance was read providing for the placing of
electric gongs or bells to warn persons crossing ~ain cross and
Water Sts. Ordinance reads as follows.
AN PRDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF THE MONON
RAILROAD COMPANY, A CORPORATION WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
THE TOWN OF CARMEL. HANILTON COUNTY~ INDIANA.
Whereas, on aoount of certain obstruction to the view of
the line of track of the Monon Railroad Company, by persons
crossing said line of railroad at the intersection thereof
