A remolution providi~g for the improvement of Main Street by the construction of a curbing on tbs east and wsst side of said mtrset from the north corporation line to tbs south corporation line in accordance with plans and specificat- ions in the office of the Engineer of said Town~ was read. Resolution was unamimously adopted by the board~ and the Clork was ordered to hand resoll~tion to The Carmel W®ekly Standard and have published in said News paper two weeks successively,the first to be on the 18-th day of July 1910, and tbs last to bs on the ~-nd d~y of July 1910. of D®olatory Rssol~tion No. 7. For The Improvement Of Main Street By The Construction Of Curbing On The East And West Side OF Said Street From The North Corpor- ation Line To The South Corporation Lin~. B® it R®~olved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Car- m~l, County of.Hamilton, State of Indiana, That it is dssmed necessary to improve ~ain Street by placing a curbimg on th~ East and West side ~aid street extending from North Corporation linc to th® South Corp- oration line, in aooordanc~ with the profile, detai~s, drawings and spec~fications on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer of said Town,and such improvement is now ordered. Tbs cost of said improvement, including tbs cost of strset and allsy inSsrssctions, shall be assed upon tbs real estate abutt- ing ~iain Street and .~ and upon th. Town of Carmel, Ind- iana,if the said Town is benefitted by the said improvement, all according to tbs msthod and manner providsd for in the acts of tbs Gen®ral Assembly of the Stats of Indiana, entitlsd "An Act concerning the Mtuacipal Corporations" Approved l~arch 6,1905. Assessments if deferred, are to be in Ten equal armual installm- ents with interest at the rate of six per cent per annum. A Bond or bonds shall be issued to contractor in the payment of such work, ttnless the property owner pay said assessments before said bond or bonds are issued. Under no circumstances shall the Town of Carmel be held responsible for any sum or sums from said property owner~ or owners from said work,or for the collection of the same,or for the payment of any bond, bonds,oertifioate~ or certificates, issued to said contractor in payment for such work, except for such moneys as shall have been actually received by the town from the assessments for suchimprovement,or such moneys as said town is by said above entitled act required to pay. All proceedings had and work done in the m~king of said im- provement,assessment of property,collections of assessments and issuance of bonds therefor,shall be provided for in said above entitled act and amendments thereto.
