The matter of th6 Stop ano Go sign not working was discussed an~ clerk
was ordered to have it repaired.
Hr. Ramsey of Tipton was present offering to sell Fire extingushers at
a good price with a trade in for our old ones; The matter was t.aken under
advisment.
Earl Kiger was present offering for sale a Grader-leveler for the
sum of 150.00 Board took the matter under consideration.
A resolution was presented and adopted as follows;
Resolution. .
Whereas there bas been a petition ,signed by 200 of the citizens, asking
that a suitable water system for the Town of Carmel be constructed,
Whereas, this project is nearing completion, and the Bond-issue was
ln.,uI~iclent to complete the said system
Therefore ,be it resolved by the Board of Trastees o£ the To~vn of Carmel,
met in regular session , that a temporary loan of One Thousand dollars
be obtained for a period of One Year at the rate of 6 % per annum.

a pumo on West Main e ,-+ ooalpromised and settied by the making of
certain water connection into properties of Hawkins.
