REVIEW COORDINATED EFFORTS WITH ENGINEER FOR APPROVAL.
3. REFER TO ARCHITECTURAL REFLECTED CEILING PLANS FOR EXACT LOCATION OF ALL CEILING MOUNTED ITEMS.
4. STORE EQUIPMENT AND COMPONENTS IN A CLEAN, DRY LOCATION UNTIL READY FOR INSTALLATION. PROTECT FROM WEATHER, THEFT, DIRT, FUMES,
WATER, CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS, ETC. AT ALL TIMES. ANY DAMAGED EQUIPMENT OR COMPONENT SHALL BE RESTORED AS NEW OR REPLACED.
5. DEMOLITION/REMODEL
A. ALL MATERIALS REMOVED, AND NOT RELOCATED, BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE CONTRACTOR. REMOVE MATERIALS FROM THE
PROJECT SITE UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. OWNER HAS THE OPTION TO REVIEW ITEMS PRIOR TO REMOVAL AND RETAIN IF DESIRED.
B. PATCH WALLS, FLOORS, CEILINGS, COLUMNS, ROOF PENETRATIONS, ETC. WHERE ITEMS ARE REMOVED TO MATCH FINISH OF ADJACENT
SURFACES.
C. RELOCATE EXISTING ITEMS AS REQUIRED FOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF WALLS, CEILINGS, DUCTWORK, PIPING AND EQUIPMENT.
D. REMOVE ALL CONDUIT, WIRING, BOXES, SWITCHES, SUPPORTS, ETC. MADE UNNECESSARY, OR OBSOLETE AS A RESULT OF THIS PROJECT.
E. EQUIP ALL OUTLET BOXES, CONCEALED BY CONSTRUCTION, WITH EXTENSION RINGS, BOXES, OR ACCESS PANEL TO MAINTAIN ACCESS TO
BOXES AND WIRING. NOTE: CONTRACTOR HAS OPTION TO PROVIDE NEW HOME RUNS TO DOWNSTREAM OUTLETS IF EXTENSION BOXES OR
ACCESS PANELS ARE IMPRACTICAL.
F. REARRANGE EXISTING PANEL CIRCUITRY TO ACCOMMODATE REVISIONS.
G. MAINTAIN EXISTING LIGHTING CIRCUITS. RELOCATE LIGHTING, AS SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS, RECONNECTING TO SWITCHED OR UNSWITCHED
CIRCUITS AS APPLICABLE.
H. ALL ITEMS WITH NOTATION "EX" ARE TO REMAIN.
I. ALL ITEMS WITH NOTATION "R" ARE RELOCATED, AS NOTED.
6. ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS SHOW THE INTENDED ARRANGEMENT AND ROUTING OF ALL CONDUIT AND DEVICES. THEY SHALL BE FOLLOWED AS CLOSELY
AS ACTUAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND WORK OF OTHER TRADES WILL PERMIT.
7. PERFORM ALL WORK IN A SKILLED, PROFESSIONAL, MANNER MEETING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE ENGINEER, ARCHITECT AND OWNER.
8. LABEL ALL RECEPTACLE DEVICES AS TO WHICH PANEL AND OVERCURRENT DEVICE FEEDS THE DEVICE WITH AN INDELIBLE MARKER ON THE BACK SIDE
OF THE COVER PLATE. DEVICE WITH PLASTIC ENGRAVED PLATE ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE COVER PLATE.
9. SMALLEST CONDUIT SIZE ALLOWABLE IS 3/4", AND SMALLEST WIRE SIZE ALLOWABLE IS #12 AWG COPPER UNLESS SPECIFICALLY NOTED OTHERWISE.
ADJUST CIRCUIT AND CONDUIT SIZES FOR VOLTAGE DROP.
